LOOKING FOR: FULL TIME NANNY/CAREGIVER/DRIVER/BABYSITTER, WHO/AGES: 18 & 30+ mom with ALS. This will be a dual role to tag team with dad. (50/50 - half of the time with kids, half of the time with mom. LOCATION: Ontario, CA DATE(S) OF JOB: Feb 28, 2026 (occasional later evening) TIME(S): 11-7/12-8 PAY: $55.00 to $75.00per hr DETAILS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A warm and welcoming family of two is seeking a compassionate, reliable team player to join our household in a dual support role. The mother has ALS and requires consistent care, and the ideal candidate is someone who is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working collaboratively with the father to support both mom and the children, though not simultaneously. Responsibilities include assisting with getting the children to and from activities, providing guidance and redirection as needed, planning a few structured afternoons, and engaging them in fun, age-appropriate activities such as park outings. The children are fairly self-sufficient for their ages and primarily need supervision, structure, and positive engagement. When the father is with the children, the caregiver will focus on supporting mom. This role involves assisting with feeding tube care, ventilator knowledge, use of a suction machine, and transfers to and from the restroom. A medical background is strongly preferred, though training can be provided for the right candidate. Open communication is important in this role. The caregiver will be included in a group text with both parents to help ensure mom remains actively involved in day-to-day family life.
